Their wedding, held on on Saturday in July, was the perfect balance of simple elegance and thoughtful details, brought to life with the help of our experienced planning team.
From the Midwest to the Mile High City
Originally from the Midwest, Lauren and Jeff infused their day with warm, personal touches while staying true to a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. Their color palette focused on neutral tones—think soft greens, ivory, and black—with a mix of succulents and air plants for texture and character. While most of their tablescapes featured succulents (a subtle nod to their love of natural elements), Lauren’s bouquet also included a few unique air plants that made the design pop.
First Look in a Raw, Industrial Space
To capture their first look, the couple chose a nearby warehouse—an intentional choice to preserve calm vibes while the chaos of vendor load-in was happening at Blanc. The raw, industrial vibe of the warehouse made for stunning portraits and set the tone for the rest of the day’s aesthetic.
Ceremony Details & Creative Touches
Our 828 Planning team worked closely with Lauren and Jeff to source a ceremony arch that aligned with their vision. They brought in a modern, minimal structure which their florist later embellished, seamlessly tying the ceremony backdrop into the overall theme.
A standout visual moment? Their champagne tower! While it wasn’t actually filled with bubbly — ginger ale filled the coupes instead — it served as a fun photo op and a whimsical nod to classic celebration moments.
Another fun and personal touch? Instead of a traditional cake topper, the couple planned to snap Polaroids throughout the day and add them to the cake—turning the dessert display into a living memory board as the night unfolded.
